What falls from the sky [10.13.05]

So wet, so draped like seaweed
Scattered around the beach,
To the unpleasantly sour disbelief of families,
Probably just out for a holiday.

Damn.
Yeah.
I love the power
Of dropping nourishment.
Some say this is not right,
Since it is the sun that makes all grow.
The water envelopes me,
Gives me the hair I wish I had,
Gives a sense of relief.
And oh what presence.

I had a tape.
I recorded the forceful plunge,
As it hit my parents driveway,
I sat in the garage,
I had once
Stolen my mother’s car from.

So blissfully wet.
Damn.
